Specifically, the total number of ceremonies held by the king or his representative is 98.

The Nam Giao altar ceremony in the past was a ritual that was classified as a grand ceremony. Specifically, it holds the meaning of an important ceremony of the Nguyen court. That the king had the right to perform the sacrifice ceremony. Moreover, the sacrifice ceremony is usually held once a year in the spring and lasts up to 3 days. After that, the ceremony was held every 3 years. And by the time of King Bao Dai, it was reduced to just one day.
