As you navigate this route, the valley floor will recede far below. While you wind your way through towering peaks and majestic canyons. Consider taking a brief detour.  By turning left off the QL4C at the base of the captivating Mã Pí Lèng Pass, and its onto side road 193A. This short yet enjoyable ride will provide you with a closer look at the meandering Nho Quế River below. It also offers a unique perspective on the surrounding landscape.

Day 4: Return to Hà Giang City

Morning:

Begin the final day of your excursion with a light breakfast. Besides, ensure you have enough supplies for the return journey to Ha Giang. Depart from Bảo Lâm and take the QL34 southwest, heading towards Hà Giang. For the majority of the route, the road runs alongside the scenic Gâm River. It will provide a pleasant drive along the valley floor. While there will still be some twists and turns, they won’t be as challenging as those encountered earlier in your trip. Take your time to savor the journey and enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way.

Pause in Bắc Mê to have a quick meal at one of the local food stalls. As you approach the city, you’ll notice fewer towns in the final stretch of your journey.
